Abstract

Abstract:Neuropathic pain can be defined as “pain arising as a direct consequence of a lesion or disease affecting the somato-sensory system”. This article reviews animal models of neuropathic pain induced by peripheral nerve injury，herpes zoster，diabetes and cancer and its evaluation methods.
