Amino acid neurotransmitters are important neurotransmitters in the brain，which regulate the function of the human brain. Neurological diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease are closely related to amino acids in the brain. It has been widely applied at present and the amino acid content determination method has a high performance liquid chromatography（HPLC）method，the determination of amino acid analyzer method，chromatography-mass spectrometry method，gas chromatography，etc，but these methods have certain limitations，so quick select and establish a suitable amino acids and peptides neurotransmitters efficient measurement method is particularly important. This paper reviews the methods for the determination of amino acid neurotransmitters in blood and tissue samples in recent years，in order to provide reference for more researchers.
