Gastrodia elata has a wide range of applications and many market development products. Its chemical components mainly include phenols，organic acids，sterols and it has the effects of calming analgesia，antihypertensive，antithrombotic and antiepileptic. There are many studies on Gastrodia elata Blume monotherapy and active ingredients，but there are relatively few studies on the application of Chinese Patent Medicine containing Gastrodia elata Blume. Therefore， this article summarizes the composition，application forms，and functional indications of all Chinese-based medicines containing Gastrodia elata in the 2015 edition of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia，analyzes the association rules of high-frequency Chinese medicines，and explores the compatibility of Gastrodia elata with other traditional Chinese medicines. To provide guidance for the development of new drugs containing Gastrodia elata，and reference for the clinical use of Gastrodia elata-containing Chinese patent medicines.
