The incidence of AD increases year by year with the increase in the elderly population，and its mortality，morbidity and high cost of treatment are not only for patients themselves but also for their families members，caregivers and society to bring a heavy financial burden and care burden.But its pathological mechanism is complex，and the lack of effective treatment，and traditional Chinese medicine on the disease has a unique therapeutic advantage. This paper summarizes the related symptoms of AD the intervention and therapeutic effect of traditional chinese medicine compound preparation on various pathogenesis of AD in recent years. The results show that traditional chinese medicine compound preparation is an effective means to treat AD.
