In recent years，the neuroprotective effects of polysaccharides have been extensively reported. In this paper，the neuroprotective effects of polysaccharides and related mechanisms of anti-oxidation，anti-inflammation，neuronal proliferation and differentiation，and apoptosis inhibition have been summarized and discussed.
