Here we focused on the clinical application of hypothermic anesthesia in the following areas, including the concept and development in hypothermic anesthesia, commonly cooling methods, applications of hypothermic anesthesia in the cardiovascular and neurosurgery, complications of hypothermic anesthesia and their prevention, intraoperative and postoperative nursing in hypothermic anesthesia, comparison between hypothermic anesthesia and other anesthesia in anesthetic approach; influence on some metabolites in the body in hypothermic anesthesia.
